An applicant shall be considered an international student, having neither an ROC passport nor overseas Chinese student status at the time of application.

What can I Study?

Bachelor Programs:

While most courses are taught in Chinese, there are also Pre-Major Program for freshmen to improve Chinese language ability. 5 English taught undergraduate degree-programs: Bachelor's Program of International Business Administration in English, RMIT-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Business and Innovation, SJSU-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Business Analytics, SJSU-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Engineering,and FCU-SFSU Undergraduate 2+2 Program in Computer Science in addition.

Master Programs:

While most courses are taught in Chinese, there are two English taught graduate degree-programs: Department of International Business, Department of Foreign Language and Literature.

Ph.D Programs:

While most courses are taught in Chinese, there is one English taught PhD degree program: PhD program for Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, and Infrastructure Planning.

Scholarship/Financial Aids

FCU offers three kinds of scholarship/financial aid: NT$ 120,000, NT$60,000 and Living allowance for one academic year. The scholarship/financial aid will be given in two semesters.

For application, simply tick the scholarship/financial aid box on the admissions application form. Students can also apply for the government-offered Taiwan Scholarship.
